Your Role
As Head of Unite Team 2, you will:
- Lead a team of subject matter experts and specialists in R&D.
- Drive performance based on strategy, project goals, and product roadmaps.
- Set SMART targets, manage resources and budgets, and monitor KPIs.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop team members while staying ahead of tech trends.
- Collaborate across teams and functions to ensure alignment and innovation.
- Contribute to product development, maintenance, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for innovation while maintaining business priorities.
- Be an active member of the R&D management team and lead broader initiatives.
What You Bring
- MSc/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Health Informatics.
- 6–10 years of experience in software engineering, IT, telecom, or healthcare.
- Proven leadership in global, multicultural environments.
- Understanding of Ascom’s product portfolio and agile methodologies.
- Advanced skills in technical excellence, analytical thinking, and project management.
- Intermediate proficiency in communication, customer focus, and decision-making.
- Proficiency in Swedish and English – both written and spoken.
